Scott earned a degree in broadcast journalism from Florida State University. A firm believer in continuing education, Scott earned the prestigious CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification (CFP®) after successfully demonstrating the skills, knowledge and experience necessary to use the financial planning process to serve the needs of individuals, families and business owners. As a CFP®, Scott has pledged to adhere to the principles of integrity, objectivity, competence, fairness, confidentiality, professionalism and diligence when working with clients. When Scott isn’t in the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Nicole and their two sons, Vito and Will. They love all things Florida State Seminoles, skiing on the slopes, youth sports and the outdoors.
Wyndi Pelt
A member of The Vedder Group since 2004, Wyndi serves as the director of marketing and business operations for the firm. Wyndi’s primary focus is overseeing and refining the overall client experience.
From the very first call to an annual next client review, she works to ensure the best service and support possible. As director of marketing, Wyndi oversees prospecting activities, business development, and overall marketing efforts. Wyndi is the primary contact for Scott’s busy calendar and is responsible for coordinating client meetings and events. In addition, she is the point of contact for all insurance underwriting, employee group health benefits, and customer service.
Wyndi attended Florida State University to pursue a degree in Social Science. She holds a Florida license for Life Insurance, Health and Variable Annuity as well as her Series 6 Investment license. When Wyndi is not in the office she enjoys cheering on the Noles and her stadium announcer husband, Woody at the home games. Wyndi and Woody are active in their church and community.
Lori joined The Vedder Group in 2010 as the director of investment operations. With her many years of investment service experience, Lori’s primary focus is helping clients monitor and manage their investment portfolios and to work as a liaison between clients and brokerage companies. Lori prides herself on her attention to detail and professionalism and her drive to ensure clients have an outstanding experience.
Lori graduated from Florida State University with a degree in finance. She holds a Florida license for Life Insurance, Health and Variable Annuity as well as her Series 7 and 63 Investment licenses. When she is away from the office, Lori enjoys and excels at gardening, cooking, traveling, fostering pups, attending church and spending time with her family.

DIRECTOR OF CLIENT SERVICES
Jennifer joined our team early 2023 and serves as our Director of Client Services. As part of our ongoing commitment to our clients, Jennifer’s focus is dedicated to enhancing the overall experience. She will be the first voice you hear on the phone and the smiling face that greets you at the door. Jennifer coordinates our client meetings, directs client communications and manages service requests. Jennifer collaborates with the team for meeting preparation and data retention.
Jennifer brings vast experience in communications, organizational and multitasking skills. She joined our team after filling roles with the State of Florida. She received her bachelor’s in Communications and a minor in Business from FSU, where she met her husband. Jennifer and her husband settled in Tallahassee after graduating to raise their family, which includes two kids, two cats, fish and a bearded dragon. When she’s not at work, Jennifer loves puzzles, gardening, bike rides and indulging in her Friday Happy Hour tradition with her husband.
